Early into reading this, I found a blatant mathematical error at 'location 484'. The author says 'P = V^2 * R', which is not true. Then a few lines down he correctly says P = I^2 * R which is correct. Did anyone proof read this 'book' besides me? But I kept reading, hoping to find more accurate and useful content.Then I ran into a real whopper at 'location 790 of 3502'. Here the author states "we need to admit how little mathematics we have that is practically useful.' I am stunned by that statement and offended at this arrogant insult to my intelligence. I use mathematics every day in life and on my job as a software developer and find it incredibly useful.Much of the content is repetitive -- the author says the same thing in slightly different ways. In fact, it got to the point where I had to skim through it to try to find the next topic.Unfortunately, I did not get anything out of the book that I didn't already know. He talks a lot about 'signals' and I wanted more of the 'processing' part of it covered. Maybe its my fault for picking the wrong book, as this one seems like it is written for people struggling to comprehend what signals are.I ended up buying "The Scientist & Engineer's Guide to Digital Signal Processing" on Amazon (in print). Its also available as a free download from the authors website, but I chose to support the author by buying his book. From what I have seen of it so far, it is 100% better than Bore's 'book'.
