Peko has started to publish some very nice large page World War II tank books. This was Volume 7 and focused upon the Tiger I.There’s a two page introduction going over the development of the Tiger, its production run, the heavy tank battalions that used them, and the markings on the vehicles.The rest of the book are a good selection of pictures. The first two thirds of the book features tanks from the Eastern Front. Then there are vehicles in Italy and France. The captions provide good information. Most importantly, almost all of the photos are very rare. Many Tiger books simply reproduce the same pics over and over. When you get a mostly new batch like provided in this book, it makes highly desirable.Overall, this is an excellent Tiger book. Far above the norm because of the great selection of photos.
As with the other titles from this publisher, this is a work to satisfy people who are already well versed in the technical and operational history of the Tiger I. There are many unique and rarely seen photos chosen for the discriminating Tiger I fan. There are a number of poor quality photos, but which were chosen for some particular point of interest or rarity. A number of them have solved mysteries I have had about certain Tigers. This book, like the Panther book, is especially of an esoteric quality.
The Tiger 1 is my favourite vehicle and such I never seem to have enough books on the subject. The book is very well laid out and contains some very interesting pictures of the Tiger. I am hoping and looking forward to additional books in the series. The book has very limited text other than the captions for the particular image on the page. The book is well printed and presented.
Many very good photos of the "Tiger", some which I have not seen before. Has Hungarian and English text well written.

Love the subject and the photo content is pretty good. I use these books as a visual reference for model building and there are a great pictures of Tiger detail and Tigers in combat.
