About the Author
Dr. Werner W.K. Hoeger is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Research Consortium of SHAPE America (Society of Health and Physical Educators). A former Winter Olympian and All-American athlete, Dr. Hoeger developed many of the popular fitness assessment tools in use today, such as the modified sit and reach, total body rotation, shoulder rotation, muscular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and soda pop coordination tests. Recipient of the Presidential Award for Research and Scholarship at Boise State, and a renowned expert and lecturer, Dr. Hoeger continues to conduct important research on exercise physiology, physical fitness, and wellness. I rented a used textbook for a class and it came in a very good used condition. There was very minimal pencil marks in it so it was easy to read and the corners of the pages were slightly bent, but not that bad.Aside from the condition of the book, I was surprised at the clarity of the information and I liked that it had work pages that you could fill out to help you with figuring out how to eat better and exercise more efficiently. I also liked that it had exercise and stretching positions and moves, and explained how the positions/moves help or harm you.
I was hoping to rent this book as I needed it for a class, but I bought it for a large price-but it is packed full of important and useful information for life outside of the class. I know i've gone back in and read about the nutrition section for personal use. I would like to see it as a rental option though for future students.
Still renting the book and for the price it came in handy for the college class I'm currently taking
I hate this book but it is exactly as the seller promised. i was forced to read it for a class but it is an acceptable book.

I received the instructors edition when I ordered this, which was fine.. there wasn't much difference
Outdated information but I guess useful.
It was kinda bent, but it's just a book and was cheap!
